He was the lightning, she was the tree.
He crushed into her and set her on fire.
But just as fast as he came, he was gone – leaving her burning.
The fire made its way until there was nothing left for it to swallow. So it died down.
Leaving her burnt out and only as a black shadow of what she used to be.
All this he didn’t know, he never will.
