One look

What is a look?

A coincidence that two people look at each other at the same time. That’s it. Nothing less and nothing more.

Two pairs of eyes starring at each other for a moment or not even a momen but a second. That’s it. Nothing less and nothing more.

Two bodies doing the exact same thing at the same time. Fully concentrating on each other, forgetting everything else. That’s it. Nothing less and nothing more.

Seeing behind the mask of a person. Seeing his soul, his true identity. A moment of mental nakedness. That’s it. Nothing less and nothing more.

Pure emotions being transfered. Not only to look at a person but to really see her for the first time. Bare feelings. That’s it. Nothing less and nothing more.

To stop whatever you’re doing to just stand there, stare and wonder. Wonder how warm, it is getting in the room, wondering whether you’re becoming sick because your throath starts getting dry and your stomach turns up side down.

Wondering if it is just you or if the whole world just stopped rotating to focus on this moment of true passion and magic and somehow commitment. Wondering if this is just the first of a lot of these moments you will share or if it is a one-time-stare. Feeling in love like never before within a view split seconds and hoping that this moment will never end.

A look. That’s it. Nothing less and nothing more.
