poetry, written thoughts

Strangers

When I first saw you I smiled a silent smile of admiration.

I watched you laugh and had to join.

I couldn’t keep from starring.

I even dared to take a picture of you – you the sunny turning point of my so rainy day.

A smile was all you granted me, a few questions and some small talk – well, at least something my day dream factory can work with.

I know technically I don’t know you at all, yes I only saw you once and barely talked to you. But let’s face it:

Most good stories start with strangers.
