I am not afraid

I am not afraid of the dark – at least when it’s dark your shadows won’t chase me.

I am not afraid of the light – at least in the light your dark voice won’t reach me.

I am not afraid of being alone – at least when I’m alone you won’t be near me.

I gave you my all.

You took it – and left me in pieces.
